The Problem – Making large Cable Drums is very hard physical labour using heavy nail guns, routers as well as doing some heavy lifting. Not only is it hard physical work, but by its very nature, there are associated health and safety risks and problems.

The Solution : The Design Energy team designed and built a robotic cable drum manufacturing system.  

The Outcome: Less labour resources needed, health and safety risks are reduced and significantly less floor area is required.
